I majored in history with certificates in global studies and study abroad at North Carolina A&T University, UNC-Asheville and a Japanese University with 3.9 GPA.
Experience
Throughout the years I've tutored and peer-tutored other students when I was one in college in Japanese and history. After that in China and Hong Kong I taught college students, children and adults English and Western history/culture, both in the form of formal classes and tutoring. I've long enjoyed tutoring students of various backgrounds. I can give both technical and down-to-Earth breakdowns of historical, cultural or lingual subjects when necessary. It is always gratifying if I can help others gain an understanding or better understanding of something they have trouble or worse yet frustration with. That improves my own abilities as well.
