It is my first year at UNCG, but I entered with nearly 60 credit hours from AP tests. I am a Political Science major, with a concentration in Social Studies High School Teaching.

Experience

I got a perfect score in the writing section of the SAT. Altogether I got around an 1890. I was an AP state scholar, I had 4s and 5s on more than 5 AP tests. I want to be a tutor because I'm going to be a teacher one day and it will be great practice, while simultaneously helping a student in need.

I was a swimmer and my older brother played soccer a lot. I have led student organizations for middle and elementary schoolers throughout high school, and I have been told that I am good at relating to someone by making a sports analogy or somehow connecting their lesson to something that they like, rather than just shoving information in their face the way the textbook /wants/ them to read it.
