I have been teaching at the college level for four years. Most of my experience has been in labs, and therefore I have extensive experience in one on one instruction. I have always enjoyed teaching, especially in one on one setting because in personal setting students are able to learn faster. In addition I have also trained many undergraduates for lab positions and I feel this has greatly facilitated my ability to convey complex information. I have completed an undergrad in biology, and am most of the way through my masters which has made me a very well rounded biology tutor with experience with all forms of biology education, basic chemistry, rudimentary statistics, and related fields. Hobbies
Presently I am in my masters degree work and most of my free time is devoted to this pursuit. When time for relaxation is available I enjoy a wide range of activities including hiking, kayaking, reading (primarily sci-fi and science related works), and extensive computer use. My primary joy though is always learning and teaching which is why I intend to enter into academia upon the completion of my education.
