English Major with Creative Writing Concentration at Colby College in Maine, graduated in 2009. Attended the School For International Training in Madagascar in 2007. Currently in the Masters of Fine Arts program for Poetry at UNC Greensboro.

Experience

I have 1 year experience as a private tutor and 3 years experience as an English literature and Creative Writing teacher in summer programs. I'm fluent in French, have taken courses on the history and theory of education as well as on teaching poetry in schools. As a former English major and current creative writing graduate student, I've had a great deal of experience with both academic and creative writing, and have a great understanding of how to pass this experience effectively to others. I'm also a great advisor and coach for essays for college and other school applications.
