I have been working as an independent tutor since I was in high school but in college I connected with the Trio Upward Bound program, helping high school students get their grades up and get ready for college. Recently I spent a summer tutoring an ESL student to help with her reading level, vocabulary, and spelling. My areas of expertise lie mainly in English; reading, phonics, spelling, writing, reading comprehension, creative and essay writing. I am also a competent tutor in lower level maths (up to Algebra).
